I started my business installing DirecTV and Dish Network, but, over the years I've found that there are more people trying to get away from the pay TV bill than there are trying to sign up. I still work on satellite systems, and I'm still very good at it, but my business focus has shifted from signing people up on two-year satellite contracts at ridiculously high rates that keep going up year after year, to helping people get away from the big pay TV bills, and into the less-expensive options that are out there these days (i.e. off-air antennas, streaming TV, contract-free subscription services, standalone DVRs).
